The research, planning, and patient waiting (well not so much of the latter) has paid off: We officially have our first sprouts of our vegetable garden! Romaine lettuce - and if each sprout makes it, we will have 18 heads of lettuce in 71 days... wow. Guess we better get crackin' on the garden itself huh? I love this concept: picking out and growing your own veggies, taking care of them each day and watching them blossom. Than the serious jackpot: eating and sharing your payload with those you love: hope you all love salad!
